Some Tenants are disgusting!

Our Tenants have moved out of the Queen Creek house, and this is basically how they left it. I don't even want to clean it, it's so disgusting and filthy.

My poor pool :(

Beneshy

My sister met a guy from Utah and brought him to Prescott to meet all of us...little did we know that Beneshy had already been formed. They were married on January 15th, the day before they came to Prescott. Ben has got to be one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Dinesh is a very lucky woman, and we are so happy for her and Ben and the kids. Congratulations again Nesh! You really are a PAYNE!

"Silent Scream"

During the past few weeks my electronics have been killing me! First my personal outlook files became corrupted. I think it's because my personal outlook files were too big, and so it died. I tried all the tricks I found on the internet. I downloaded the repair tool, and waited at least 2 hours each time for this to work. Half the time my computer would freeze and this tool would stop working. Finally, I got the repair tool downloaded and my computer froze again! UGH! Stupid thing!

Later, I created a new outlook, profile, and found most of my emails, but my contacts are all still missing. So, if you're reading this, I probably don't have your email in my outlook right now. Please feel free to email me.

Getting my outlook up and running took at least a week, and it's really put me behind on my work.

Don't worry, this gets better....I kept receiving a prompt to upgrade my Blackberry Storm, so I plugged it in and upgraded....the sad thing is I didn't realize it would delete all my contacts too. So once again, if you're reading this please email me your phone number too.

When it rains it pours....At least it's almost the year of the Tiger! My luck is sure to change.

First date of the year

This past week has really taken it's toll on me, by Friday I knew I really needed to make sure I had a break this weekend. I stayed at the office until 9pm on Friday, but on Saturday I only worked for a couple of hours. It was great! I cleaned out my closet...finally, and we took down all of our Christmas decorations. It was kind of sad, but it was time. However, I did keep up one Christmas tree in our foyer, it's a cute little tree and I will have to get decorations for it throughout the year.

Later on Saturday Kenyon went to meet with another dentist in the area to make possible plans for the future. We will keep you posted.

While he was at his meeting I got dressed up and ready for my date to come and pick me up. We went to the Olive Garden and were planning on going to a movie, but none of the ones we wanted to see started until 9:30. So instead, we rented Inkheart from the Red Box. It was so nice to actually have time to spend time with my husband.

DA-DA-DA-DAAAAA

My year end numbers are in, and we had 85 closings this year. I guess that's why I've been such a bad friend this year. Sorry to all my friends, and to my husband who rarely has a wife.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas 2009!

Our traditional walk through the neighborhood looking at all the beautiful luminaries that lined the streets brought us to one neighbors house who had this Santa and Elf posing in the front yard.
This is my favorite pic of the night.
On Saturday we drove down for the McDougal Christmas Party, which as usual is always a good time. This year we made a Santa Claus ornament with candy cane legs and arms, and we posed for our family picture.

Acker Night in Prescott

This was the third year we went to Acker Night in Prescott. It's so fun! Although, it was a lot colder this year, and we got there a bit late. We still enjoyed lots of music by local artists, and lot of treats, and cider. We haven't made it to the tree lighting at the Courthouse yet, but one of these years we will!

Our Christmas Tree

We added a few new things to our tree this year AND we got a 9-1/2' tree! I love standing right next to it. It's so tall! Usually we get our tree from WalMart, but they didn't have a very good selection, so we went to Home Depot and to the WalMart on Gail Gardner. Finally we ended up at the Fry's parking lot and got a HUGE tree! We were taking a chance because it was so cold the tree was frozen and we couldn't pull down the branches to see if we would like it. But we bought it anyway. I didn't think the tree was that heavy until it was only Kenyon and I bringing it in to the house. When I first started to hold it I thought my spine was being crushed. Once we finally got it through the back door and into the tree stand we had to wait a couple of days for it to thaw. It turned out to be a beautiful tree!....i love Christmas!

It's beginning to look like Christmas....finally

This year we made our own gingerbread house with butterscotch windows. It's been a long time since I've made a gingerbread house, and I realized it even more when I put the house together. The roof would not stay on! and I was more than a little frustrated. Finally, I put it away and got ready for work. When I got home that night Kenyon had put the roof on for me. Good thing he has a lot more patience than I do, and he's a great husband!
